Oh, it seemed like it might have been. What was he talking about? We should probably ask.

To provide more context for my response—Strat mentioned MAGA people being psychopaths, and I thought… oh, he must be talking about the Satanic pedophile cabal thing. Seemed like a reasonable connection to make. But maybe we could get him to confirm.

It’s too late. This is now a QAnon thread.

Sorry that I assisted in steering this thread into areas better discussed elsewhere (or possibly nowhere).

The old Pixies records are really something.

Hey Spenno, you ever get into Throwing Muses?

Derailing aside… I love the first four albums, but I never listened to the reuinion albums.. I was afraid they wouldn’t measure up. Are they worth checking out? I just have so much nostalgia for the originals, and I don’t want to ruin it.

I don't think they'll ruin anything for you, but no, I don't think they're nearly as good as the original records.

No, a total blind spot for me.

Any recommendations?

Indie Cindy and Beneath the Eyrie both have a bunch of great songs. Give them a try.

The Real Ramona is the most accessible album from their classic period; it's the last album Tanya participated in before she left to co-found The Breeders with Kim Deal. But I think you'd appreciate the weirdness of their earlier records more. Try their self-titled debut

These guys have a new single. I like the song enough. Like the guitars and the vibe even if it’s a very straightforward rock song.

Side b is a very moody cover of Que Sera, Sera. It’s also cool.

You're So Impatient is aight. Would've benefitted greatly by some Paz backing vox :(

The new chick sounds great on Que Sera Sera, though. But I'm still kinda bummed about how things turned out.

I'm enjoying this a lot more than the last. Emma sounds great on backing vox, which was my biggest concern initially. The queen is dead, long live the queen?

yeah, i like the background vocals a lot. They nailed the replacements really, i mean Paz was great and it seems this new one is also spot on.
