haha. when the official LOTR account slaps some Tolkien on the table and goes 'fuck you ignorant fools'

The fact that this was necessary for them to post a week after folks stop caring should tell you something
to be completely fair, to you both, and understanding we could be on different social media platforms, and different algorthims at play, youre both wrong and the show itself is all anyone is talking about. Im gonna say 60/40 negative to positive by my reading of it, so my question is if nobodys watching it, who TF are all these millions of accounts online complaining about it?

for a random sample, go onto reddit, they have two or three subs for the show. See for yourself.

an awful lotta discussion for something apparently nobody cares about and isnt watching. Negative voices the loudest and most present

I'm using RM as my bellwether for the broader, normieland, popular culture (if very boomer-leaning) opinion. It's a scientifically proven instrument.

Their silence on this is indicative, not whatever corporate shill bot accounts you follow.

Seems like even the hate watchers can't be bothered with this one too much. But to be fair, they have their hands full laughing at Acolyte and various "modern audience" video game failures. It's an embarrassment of riches to choose from! A bumper crop of failed "content".

Stop. Playing. Music. Over. Every. Second. Of. Airtime.

If you require nonstop score to get emotions and tone across to the audience, perhaps your script needs rewriting. Either that or you lack confidence in what you’re doing.

The premiere of season 2 was half season 1, and it looks like it's halved again by midseason, with no signs that the decline will let up. Do they cancel or do they keep slogging through with another season?

Season 1 was ass, so I stopped watching. An advanced, and little-known power move for sure.

Anyway, here's Ace Ventura in Middle Earth:

Vickers and the production values are great. Everything else is fine / mildly annoying.

Next week final epsiode of the season.

Galadriel has the nine rings. Adar has hers. How is this going to work out? Sauron obviously gets them back somehow

Im loving the way hes fuckin with all their minds now and we get to see gim be oenly evil (from our pov) and the way hes gradually becoming more and more so. Vickers is fucking killing it. In such a way hes the only character i care about in the whole damn thing, and its not meant to go like that haha

I love Durin and his wife too, though.
