Just put together a playlist of songs that don't get enough love to listen to at work constructed like a Pearl Jam album would be and it mostly works: (not sure Amongst the Waves will make it but really trying to like that song right now)

I listened to 1/2 of lightning bolt today on the way to work. Man, it just didnt hold my attention. Its been awhile since ive actually listened to it in full, rather than a random song here or there.

Maybe its my mood today. I dont know. Whatever. Random.

nope, i get it. it's been in the cd player of my car for about 2.5 years now, and when i can't find something to listen to on the radio (i don't have a input for my phone), sometimes i'll get curious and put LB on. every time after about a minute, i turn it off and either listen to sports talk radio, or just the sound of my car going down the road.

I played LB the other night driving home. There are the three worst PJ songs that I completely skipped (LB, LTRP & FD). Then there are a handful I'd happily not hear often or ever again and only 4 tracks that offered anything for me. And two of those have issues.

And do you guys have the same issue with Marker that I hear so clearly in Infallible? That chorus, man what a drop.

I can't listen to Infallible bc of the chorus, but Marker never really bothered me in its sharp shift from the verses

I love MITS. I have tried with infallible. I like the direction but man that chorus.

I like MITS a lot too -- my favorite from S/T besides "Parachutes." I like "Infallible" well enough -- I agree that the chorus is weak but it doesn't kill the song for me. I do think the transition back into the main progression sounds cool.

The chorus of Infallible kills the song for me.

"Mind Your Manners" is on the 'happy' side? And "Got Some" is on the 'dark' side?
