The protesters without masks are the scariest. They want things open, and they clearly do not intend to do ANYTHING to prevent disease once that happens.

I think they probably view tax dollars going towards abortion, environmental efforts, healthcare, etc as a sacrifice they've been making their whole lives.

I get that

Seems pretty clear that for shutdown to work, It'll truly have to been a year +. That just isn't sustainable. Its gonna be awesome when we end up doing the worst possible combination of wrecking the economy and opening back up and overwhelming hospitals. Its nice when people say that they hope the CFR is <1%. Its nice to be hopeful, but that is not going to happen with our demographics and how we're handling this.

The CFR being low is really our only chance. Plus maybe some sort of therapy being developed.

What happens if the second wave happens during the holidays and everyone is stuck at home with their immediate families in the depressing hell of winter?
