Loved the performance last night...

If you go back a few minutes before, there is a video of Chris' family talking about the 'early days' of AIC.

There was a lot of love/representation of/from the Seattle Cornell family last night.

yeah, they really killed it. Tad was also super good and that Mike vs Kim moment was fuuuuckin good.

Equally interesting was how that Cornell covers album came out the EXACT SAME DAY that one of Matt's side projects had a release too...

I'm also concerned about the fact the cover albums was called "Volume 1"... I sure as shit hope that "Volume 2" isn't the Soundgarden stuff....because Volume 1 is TERRIBLE.

what do you mean the soundgarden stuff? The demos he did for the final album? I dunno. I guess its more covers.

Exactly.
I wouldn't put it past the 'estate' to be under the impression that 'Vol 2' should be the recordings he was working on with the band.

I would doubt there's another albums worth of covers... But I could be wrong.

She has a lot of demos besides those. But yeah, she could release those of course.

She just posted on instagram that all cornell stuff will be released including Soundgarden!

Im sure she meant the demos and not the reworked versions the band want to do.
