I haven’t listened but I assumed it was something to the effect of “when I stepped in there was a lot of friction because Stone was the creative force at the start of the band then Ed kinda took over once he became famous and the face of the band. Once we made Yield, everyone kinda got the creative space to contribute. I left because I was going through some things and couldn’t do a huge tour. The guys were great. It was really great to play with them last year.”

I think there’s a chance it might’ve happened if they hadn’t canned the last few shows on that leg, but alas.

It’s been a while and yet I still don’t understand why Pearl Jam hasn’t made Live at Benaroya Hall and The Gorge 05/06 available on streaming platforms if everything else seemingly is. I don’t recall these items ever being limited. The Philly boxed set I can almost understand since I am not sure they even pressed those on CDs (weren’t they CD-Rs?). And the Vaults should all be available. The limited nature of whatever vinyl records won’t change because we can listen on digital platforms.

Yes though that boxed set was sold in stores. It was not akin to the live release bootlegs.

listened to that Deep touring band mix on apple music. sound quality on a lot of the songs is not good, and mattspeed is unbearable on corduroy. rarely do i have to skip PJ songs but today that had to happen. This also makes me wonder if other people hear this and think ‘wow PJ live are not that good i wonder why people are so into them’. but then i remember this is all a simulation and none of it matters so i will just will a magic unicorn to appear and fly away on a rainbow that drops ice cream cones
