Ok, so in the interest of understanding: yeah. I like twitter. In addition to connecting me with traditional news services, it provides me with access to types of information that don’t typically have a pathway.

For example, It not only connects me to video of anonymized government agents attacking a man who has not aggressed towards them, but it also gives me the ability to learn more about him...not only his injuries, but also who he is and what brought him to the protest. This is humanizing information, which puts an unnecessary physical assault in perspective, and as such it is more valuable and respectable to me than dismissiveness based on priors.

The protestors in Portland have basically turned their mayor into a cuck and motivated the city council into proposing a $15 million cut to police budget with their 50 day territorial pissing. It would be hard to argue at this point they have "no" civic voice.
