I mean... at least in the regular season, as stupid as it is, they're pitching to the save. But how can someone possibly do the same in a do-or-die playoff game?

Can teams not afford to provide coaching staff with a weekend seminar on the basics of in-game management?

Amazing how random the baseball playoffs are...and guys who put up zero stats in the regular season end up being playoff heroes.

Way more than any other sport except for maybe extra time in soccer where some random dude is in the right place at the right time.
