As much as I loathe Harmony Korine... I'm actually really want to see and am (in spite of myself) actively excited for The Beach Bum. I will spend money on that movie. And IF I like it, I might just change my mind on Korine and go back and watch Spring Breakers. Maybe. But I'm open now to being wrong about the guy and we'll see what happens.

I hate that there are almost never any movies I want to see in theaters anymore. I’d like to go to a movie this weekend and there’s just nothing. It’s a wasteland. Five billion showings of Captain Marvel to choose from, though.

Yeah, I feel the same way. I thought about "Captive State" but it looks too, I don't know, satirically one-sided? Not sure if that is the right description but it just looks very politically influenced.

Also, I have a $100 theater gift card but again, never anything I want to see. I'm going to just start dropping by and using it to buy popcorn to take home.
