describe your hamburger steak

i was ostracized here awhile back concerning this dish
A hamburger I pattied out, and cooked it in the skillet just as I would a steak. Seasoned with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder and smoked paprika. No bun, cheese, nor vegetation of any kind. Steak sauce optional, but we don't use it.
you not a gravy guy?
sigh Actually, that dish is Mrs Wease's favorite dish. She makes these little slider patties (that are always overcooked so as to resemble eating the sole of a shoe) and makes the gravy using a can of mushroom soup. And we always have mashed potatoes with it. As I said, it's her favorite meal. We just had it this past week. Mine, not so much. If I'm going to go the gravy route, I want gravy, not some canned soup shit. Typically, I don't do gravy on hamburger steak, tho. I guess that would be like Salisbury steak, wouldn't it?

We do have some cube steak that we'll be using for country fried steak and gravy pretty soon, tho.
i don't know if i know the difference in salisbury and hamburger steak...i'm pretty sure i've ordered hamburger steak out and it came with gravy, though

i need to try making cfs again...i had one fail and one decent stab at it
She typically cooks these as well and guess what? Overcooked. I'm gonna be cooking them this time.
She does make damn good gravy tho
planet fitness has interfered with her womanly duties for the last time
Ah, I do 90% of the cooking anyway.

Did you go any this week?
just thursday...i was out of town friday through this afternoon

i'll probably go tomorrow evening
I wish I could.
have you ever just used her card?
It's not a question of that. It's a matter of finding time to go.
i'm sure your kids can watch themselves for a few hours

It's not even that. I don't get home from work sometimes until 7:30-8:00. At that point we have to feed the kids, make sure homework's done, I have to make supper, we have to eat supper, make sure the kids have showered and get them in bed. A lot of times, we don't even eat supper till 9 or after.
