Thought about seeing that. Might watch Silent Night, even though I hate John Woo.

May December.
I liked it enough; but i don’t see it coming back to it in the future. While both Natalie and Julianne were great it was the guy who plays the husband I was really surprised with ; a very difficult character and he nails it.

Yeah and his character was difficult and it felt real while the two women were kinda cartoonish, specially Moore. The Argonaut wrote:He was the stand-out for me, too. In a movie full of great performances

I did not like this movie. There is a fair bit of piss-poor dialogue that not even this cast can sell. A lot of the movie is illogical, and even more is tedious or downright annoying. there are good scenes, but they are few and far between and the movie wastes so much time.Rangi Guy wrote:I watched this last night and really enjoyed it. It’s not a good movie at all. Esmail is obsessed with moving the camera all the time with no reason.
But the cast is alright and the ending was good.
I'm surprised you guys felt like they nailed the ending. The ending is basically the guy who has

I'm thinking about watching Beau is Afraid this afternoon. I'm not sure if I want to pay $6 to rent it though.

Re: What movies are you watching?
there's no way that movie needed to be over 2 hours long; might have been an effective little 90 minutes

I watched Possession this evening. It was an interesting watch and I enjoyed a lot about it, but overall it was too abstract for me.

That about sums it up.The Argonaut wrote:A lot of the movie is illogical, and even more is tedious or downright annoying.
I found this especially annoying. Yes, everyone's whole world feels like it's turning sideways, we get it! You're just making me dizzy here, pal.VinylGuy wrote:Esmail is obsessed with moving the camera all the time with no reason.
