Last night watched Polar Express with the kids, will probably watch Miracle on 34th Street tonight

We did. Honestly I don't think the promotion of this film did it justice, and found myself wondering why it had taken me so long to watch it

Watched 30 Days of Night with my parents this evening. It was ok, bordering on bad. It felt more like a few hours than 30 days and the ending was really stupid, but it had some fun kills.

I tried watching the new Hunger Games like the utter fool I am. What can I say, I enjoyed the first two for what they were.

Perhaps the worst 15 mins of my life. I'm in awe.

American Fiction was great. Different than I expected and really glad that's the case.

Every performance is wonderful. Great writing. Feels like a film I'll come back to a lot in future.

I like ostentatious camera work as much as anyone but the directing in Leave the World Behind is so awkward and ill-fitting. Those zooms
