I loved it. Funny, thought provoking and absolutely gorgeous. Easily a top 5 movie of 2023. I can't wait to see it again.

I was surprised by how many people were in the theater on a Tuesday at 2:30. It was a small theater but it was almost full.

Worst movie of the year. Easy choice. Poor Things

I really wanna see it. Gotta wait til late January. Then I'll put my list together

Halfway thru Spielgerb's Fable Man. It's pretty good so far but the boy's shiny contact lenses are distracting.

no but all of his best friends from school were just teasing him and calling him "Bagel Man" and he didn't like it very much, so I assume that must be his archenemy or alter ego something

we started Oppenheimer last night...will watch the 2nd half tonight

we also watched Golda the night before...Helen did a good job

Fable Man was OK. Enjoyed it enough.

didn't end quite like i hoped... but it's still really good; hilarious, horrifying, relevant.. hope to rewatch soon

gonna give Beau is Afraid a shot now

I only finished 2 out of the 3 hours, but I dislike what I saw of Beau is Afraid. Long stretches are virtually incomprehensible. Some bits are interesting/funny, but it's often too hard to watch.

But the last hour is the worst and most insufferable part!

I liked the movie, but it's true that the first two hours are the best of the three hours.

I could feel it falling off a cliff that was already only barely there at that point, so that's when I stopped. It's just like a big muddled nightmare. My intuitions were apparently correct. Thanks guys.
