When people use "have went" instead of "have gone" gets me even more.

I've got bad news for your Carolinian. Substituting the simple past tense for the past participle is standard Southern dialect.

More algorithm annoyance. I recently bought a firepit. Now I'm getting nonstop ads for firepits. I know you fuckers can see my credit card purchases. I HAVE the god damned fire pit. Why aren't you advertising accessories or patio furniture or those funny marshmallow and hot dog roasters that look like naked people?

When you’re waiting to turn across oncoming traffic on a multi lane road, and someone stops to let you turn. They’re trying to be thoughtful, but not taking into account that there is another lane you have to cross as well where no one has stopped to let you turn. It leads to an awkward standoff.

He backed into these spaces by either a) going the wrong way in a one way lane or b) pulling up and going against the diagonal. So now, when he leaves, he’ll be going AGAINST the direction of traffic flow. Not to mention he took up two spaces.

There’s literally KEEP CLEAR zones often painted on the road at these turns too, and people actually obey them, yet there will still be this perplexing courtesy happening.

And yeah, don’t get me started on people who come to a full stop on a busy road to let someone turn on in front of them. Just asking to be rear ended.

It’s nice that Aussies overall seem to have much less road rage than Americans, but it does tend to drift into too courteous territory. You can’t drive like you’re in a country town in the big city.
