I need to rewatch Road House
I've seen it a couple of times, but I recently picked up Blade Runner and 2049 on 4k DVD and I'm excited to watch them both again.tragabigzanda wrote:Have you never seen blade runner?tommy wrote:Looks like Road House is on Max, so I could watch it tonight and form my own opinion. Steve Albini wrote:Whenever there's active promotion on the part of somebody else, whenever I see somebody all dolled up for a fancy photograph and someone's handing out flyers or whenever there's active promotion for something like that, as an imposition on my day, I hate all those people and I want them to fail. I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.
I recently watched all of the Connery movies and From Russia with Love was my favorite. For Moore my favorite is A View to a Kill, but that movie is quite divisive.Vitalogist wrote:Going to do a Bond marathon this weekend. Picking one movie per actor (one Connery movie, one Moore movie, etc). Still trying to decide which ones to watch. The only sure one I have is Goldeneye for Brosnan.
Connery - From Russia With Love (and Goldfinger)Vitalogist wrote:Going to do a Bond marathon this weekend. Picking one movie per actor (one Connery movie, one Moore movie, etc). Still trying to decide which ones to watch. The only sure one I have is Goldeneye for Brosnan.

Lazenby - On Her Majesty's Secret Service
Moore - The Spy Who Loved Me
Dalton - Licence To Kill
Brosnan - GoldenEye
Craig - Casino Royale
It’s good.tragabigzanda wrote:This is odd about Holdovers, because virtually every review headline I’ve seen has suggested it’s mediocre. It raises questions about the algorithm.
