Yeah, it's on Netflix at the moment. Highly recommended if you like Joe Dante's sense of humor.
Tonight I watched Valdez is Coming with my parents. It was a good Elmore Leonard adaptation. Tree would not like it because Burt Lancaster plays the titular Valdez.
"Orion and The Dark" (Netflix) is my favourite animated movie in years; funny, smart, emotionally resonant, it's a fresh little piece of children's "gateway" indie horror, with a cameo from Werner Herzog and a nod to Raymond Briggs' "The Snowman"

I watched How the West was Won this afternoon. What a spectacle. Some beautiful scenery and great action sequences tied together by a loose multigenerational plot.
Oh man did I love Amadeus. I didn’t realize it was such a comedic romp. F. Murray Abraham is fantastic. I watched the 3 hour director’s cut, but it breezes along very nicely. The editing is so well done.
I know we sometimes throw around the M-word willy-nilly, but dammit, I’m officially declaring this a certified M-piece.

It was alright, great cast, very impressive. I kinda feel the movie is obsessed with being the new Social Network, they even hint that movie in the score. But its not, its a passable and sometimes fun movie.
Interesting that the Winklevoss twins are executive producers of this one.
It’s from the director of The Assistant, which I really loved, but this one didn't quite do it for me. There is a lot to like about it. I love a good slow burn that quietly builds up the tension. But this didn't quite add up to a satisfying whole. Left me wanting.
