It was released on CD on Black Friday, too. The first store I went to only had CDs, and it took a few days to track down a copy of the vinyl.Kevin Davis wrote:Did that live album get a CD release? Or was it a RSD vinyl-only thing?
I like it quite a bit, but I actually wish there were more performances of new songs. "Jubilee Street" woulda been nice. Also underwhelmed by the version of "God Is In The House" that's on the LP, which is a song I love, but overall very good.

I'm looking forward to this.
Nick Cave will visit Australia and New Zealand in November and December 2014 to perform a series of rare solo concerts. Supported by a small ensemble of musicians Nick will be presenting songs from right across his considerable catalogue, including from the stunning 2013 Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds release ‘Push The Sky Away’ which achieved pole position in the Australian and New Zealand charts (and five other countries). The record has since collected numerous accolades in Cave's homeland including gold sales status and two ARIA Awards (for Best Independent Release and Best Adult Contemporary Album).

UNREAL show in Minneapolis on Saturday night... top 10 show of all time for me.

Saw these guys last week in Milwaukee, they were incredible. Cave is an outrageous performer--I was surprised how wild he was on songs when I would have assumed he would have been seated at the piano.

I just got the first four NCBS albums on wax, and I'm not as familiar with these as I am with their 90s/00s material. "Your Funeral...My Trial" is my favorite out of the ones I've spun so far. Still gotta get to "Kicking Against the Pricks."

Ugh. Recently watched "20,000 Days on Earth," and it was obvious that his kids meant the world to him. I can't imagine what that feels like.
