I think they've said that Captain Marvel's taking place in the 90s, which'll put her between Agent Carter and Iron Man.

I’ve seen most of the movies, but will give the series a try now. I will start with Shield seasons 1-2 and Jessica Jones s1, already seen a few episodes. Did Daredevil s1 a year ago.

season 1 was solid. Never got around to season 2.
I generally would recommend watching in release order.
