I remember it came with 4 bonus songs tagged to the end of the concert. Little Wing, Only Play For Money, Starboy and the slow version of Jeremy from Red Rocks were on there. Just remember thinking how unbelievable those were.

That wasn't the first bootleg I ever bought, but I did sit in my brother's room and tape it live off the radio onto an old TDK D120. For years, I didn't know they played Rockin' in the Free World with Dave Grohl because my tape ran out during Indifference and I'd already gone to bed.

That Checkpoint Charlie show from Berlin, in 96, was a far better show than that Ozzie show. I never see it getting any love here at all. Weird.

Yeah I really dug that show. I think that show and Soldier Field '95 were my first blank/postage tape trades I received

I always went for brown wrapping paper and pencil. Funny that they almost went the same way.
I miss the tape trading days. You were just happy to have it, no matter how it sounded.
I have a stack of those Italian bootleg CDs. Do not miss paying £30(at the time) for those.

ill listen to some show from 1998 tomorrow...any suggestions? Not the australian leg or the Seattle shows.

MSG 9/11/98, always a great standby for this era. The setlist now would look kind of bland, but man were they on fire that night. This show is the very reason the Garden shows became so hyped up. We've all talked about Breath from this show a million times, but it obscures the fact that at that moment, almost every song they played at this show felt like the definitive performance of that song.

9/11/98 is an overrated bootleg as far as I'm concerned. 3/5/98 and 9/16/98 are much better.

I have all three somewhere and prefer the garden show. Then again, I admit there's some bias since I was at the garden show.

great boot and quality. really loved the little guitar intro to immortality. i wish they would bring that back and lengthen it and add lyrics and make it a stand alone song.

Looking back through those setlists, it's cool to see them closing shows with anything other than Yellow Ledbetter every...single....night.

That second Maui show, they closed with SOLAT. so sweet.
