I thought this was so obvious it didn’t neeed to be spelled out, but the problem isn’t Jill or the jacket; it’s Ed’s self-indulgent egotism.

It’s the most egregious “Eddie and the Pearl Jams” moment ever, only now it’s “Eddie and Jill Vedder (feat. Pearl Jam)”.
