You guys need to hear his interview with Stern the other day. I've never heard Howard and Robin lose it like they do when Louie is telling the story about putting cottage cheese on his genitalia and having his dog lick it off. Unbelievably funny.

The second episode was painful. I had to hide under the covers a couple times.

I hated the fat girl portion of the episode. So depressing. Louie forgets that it's a comedy sometimes.

I'm not certain it is a comedy sometimes.

Well Louie's turned up the surrealism so far this season. It's never been a linear show but with a couple episodes like the one in the Hamptons and the lady in the elevator and the garbage men coming in his bedroom from the first one it's been more art film than a tv comedy series. I've noticed some of the lighting & camera angles seem distorted in some vignettes that makes the HD really pop out compared to others. I wonder if the daughter's dream was more telling then we've been led to believe? I've enjoyed it so far but it's certainly niche programming and in no ways aiming to grab big ratings. Not that there is anything wrong with that.
Oh, and for some reason my dvr hiccupped and I lost the last the five minutes or so of the last episode.

The fat girl episode should win an emmy. Bang bang was hilarious, especially the shot of the dude mopping his face with the fucking pita bread and then eating it. Then it turned into on-point social commentary. That girl was great. If she was hot, she'd be my dream girl, but I would never date someone who looks like her. I felt like shit as I watched it, but kind of the same way I feel if I floss and draw blood. Going deeper somehow both hurts and feels good.

I liked what she was saying, I didn't think she was all that fat, kinda cute actually but my god, her voice was just stabbing me in the brain. If I was a dude, that would be my reason for not dating her. Louie bagging her would be way more realistic than him bagging the model chick.

yeah, she was annoying in her voice alone.
