Maybe draft one of each category?
Fruit
Vegetable
Meat/protein
Cooked Dish
Side dish
Salad
Alcoholic drink
Non alcoholic drink
Dessert

Etc.

I like drafted teams, but I don’t think limiting it to categories is necessary. Although the salad category could present an opportunity for a chaotic rush for the almighty wedge salad.

Maybe take Jorge’s idea and doone’s idea together. We could have a breakfast tournament one month, salad tournament the next. Etc etc...

i like the idea of a food tournament either by meals or within a culture’s category (e.g. best chinese food)
