That's a fair assessment if you have ADHD.Monkey_Driven wrote:I've probably listened to that album 20 times and cannot recall a single song. Also, the most recent Radiohead album is incredibly overrated on this board.
Moon Shaped Pool is not overrated on any board. You may have a distaste for the style, but you can't argue the quality of effort and production.

Oh my god... he just wants to go home. Poor Stone. Be nice, Eddie.Anders wrote:Stone Gossard doesn't know what to think of this thread.
With all that to-be-wasted "concert" money, invest in a really expensive pair of headphones and put Vitalogy on repeat. You'll be happier.Monkey_Driven wrote:I'm excited to see them at Wrigley in August. If their next album is a turd I doubt I'll make an effort to see them much in the future.
I'm going to the show with a good friend of mine who I don't see very often. Plus, it will be a kid free weekend. I'm looking forward to the whole experience. Not just the show itself.tree_ wrote:With all that to-be-wasted "concert" money, invest in a really expensive pair of headphones and put Vitalogy on repeat. Kid free? Be sure to cover their ears.Monkey_Driven wrote:I'm going to the show with a good friend of mine who I don't see very often. Plus, it will be a kid free weekend. Let's stay on topic. Not necessarily enjoyable, but definitely a top-notch quality release from a band who's been around as long as Pearl Jam. And my argument is that the difference is effort. Because we know Pearl Jam has it in 'em, which makes it that much more insulting.Monkey_Driven wrote:Been listening to A Moon Shaped Pool for the past 30 minutes or so. My opinion has not changed. I do like Daydreamer though.
Do we know they have it in them, though? The last good thing I've heard is Cold Confession/Let it Ride, and weren't they from ST sessions?tree_ wrote:Let's stay on topic. My argument is if they sat down and mapped out some intricate guitar parts, Eddie calms the fuck down and sings within his range, and Matt would change it the fuck up a little bit, it would probably be pretty good.E.H.
