All I know is when The Last Jedi tickets went on sale at Alamo Drafthouse in Brooklyn, they went so quickly that we almost weren't able to get tickets to a single screening from Thrus at 7pm all the way through the entire week and into the next following Tues afternoon.

I bought Solo tickets 2 weeks after they went on sale at Alamo and only the Thurs night shows were sold out.

Yeah, not nearly as much buzz/excitement for this from the casual fan.

Which I get and may play into dime's point. I admit I'm not nearly as excited for this one. But I'm sure I'll have a good time. Harloff didn't love it, which bodes well for me.

Even without the holiday, I don't see it happening. It is super rare for tentpoles like this to do better on the second weekend.

Current figure is $83,325,000. That's pretty fucking low, wow. I should have gone with my gut and guessed lower than I did.

That's if today comes in just a tick under yesterday's total. If it's worse, it could be much lower.
