Yeah, there are literally millions of planets without liquid water. How would you know you're allergic to it if your atmosphere is ammonia-based, for example?
Most of these things that people say ruin movies are a lack of imagination/attention to the actual details of the film.

You should watch Star Wars again. And check out its latest films and the criticisms levelled against it.
