Ah, your favorite songs on the album are also the most generic and boring. It figures a beautifully written piece of music like "Cropduster" would be over your head.Lounge Lizard wrote: - 1/2 full

I swear the Pearl Jam Gods implanted a "you will not like Riot Act' chip into my brain, cause yet another song I just can't get into.

Love this song.
Anecdote I love: This is the song above almost all other PJ songs that my very hip-hop family loves to blast.

Absolutely love this song. Live 2003 this is basically what I went to hear with a predestined cone. I love the guitar work of this song into Ghost which also kicks ass.

The biggest grower in the catalogue. I've gone from indifference to love in the last 10 years.

Don't know what you guys find in all this RA filler. Cropduster, Ghost, Green Decease are all such generic straightforward rockers. Could be played by any band at all. They add nothing to PJ legacy if you ask me. In fact I would wish against having such songs represent Pearl Jam in general music discussions.

Really? Well if the ones I listed are boring (to which I admit they might very well be so) then Cropduster is THE definition of dull.Wendy Carlos's Twin wrote:Ah, your favorite songs on the album are also the most generic and boring. "Cropduster" is a classy piece of songwriting. One of the best latter-day PJ songs, in my opinion.

Most PJ stuff could be played by any other band, I hate this criticism. PJ largely play generic rock songs, they sound good because PJ plays them.Lounge Lizard wrote:Don't know what you guys find in all this RA filler.
