I believe Sirius retains the rights to these. Phish has a much beefier live release machine (shows available minutes after they end, streaming subscriptions to the entire live catalog, webcasts of most shows), and their Sirius show from last year hasn't been released.

If the stars align we could get another addition to the list of “infamous Pearl Jam shows”

-Indio ‘93 (Shoes)
-Golden Gate Park ‘95 (Ed sick)
-Dallas ‘98 (Rodman hijacks the show)
-Apollo ‘20 ???

One unique feature of the Apollo was "the executioner", a man with a broom who would sweep performers off the stage if the highly vocal and opinionated audiences began to call for their removal.

Anybody know how to get tickets to this, besides the one we already know with the charity contest?

I am sure I will not go to this, but I want to be friends with someone who has Sirius XM so I can hear a few of these new songs for the first time live. I am sure it won’t happen but it’s a thought. I am also mildly jealous of fans who will be at the shows before the album is released and will wonder “which one is this!?” As they bust through some of the new stuff. Seems like a real cool way to experience it. I hope they start the tour by playing the entire new album straight through. That would be a cool statement.

I have a feeling that this is going to be like the 2007 Vic Theatre show in Chicago where nearly 40% of the crowd (the entire balcony) was VIPs, record and radio people, and friends of the band.

You could also be friends with someone in Canada, since there are 4 shows in Canada before the Apollo show.

Oh I was including them in the second half of my jealousy comments.

I have never seen them preview album tracks before the release. I am sure if you hold out in Canada from any leaks it will be really awesome.
