I wasn't planning on even thinking about this mix for another week but, in typical style, I have begun adding songs to a temporary "ideas dump" playlist all day at work today. I can't help myself.

I'll let spenno speak to it fully, but I think there have been assurances that NotThatGuy is in fact ready to participate.

Ive been doing the same thing yesterday and today, got about 22 in a playlist just to try and figure out a sound and flow. Ill probably end up with 50 or so potential songs and start trimming it down some time next week

what are the parameters for this? anything goes? do we tailor it depending on who is getting it? are we lined up with another person or is this for the whole group?

Sorry, time ran away from me.

I'll do a randomised draw of mix partners and get back to you all.

Here's a brief rundown:

- Everyone will be assigned someone to make a mix for.
- Mix receivers/makers will not be paired (i.e. you're not making a mix for each other, otherwise it ruins the anonymous aspect).
- I'll give everyone a couple of weeks to get it together.
- Once ready, PM me a link to your mix and/or Spotify playlist (or text version thereof).
- If it's a Spotify playlist, I'll remake it from my account so as to keep the mix maker's identity secret.
- I'll distribute the mixes and encourage everyone to post a review promptly.

Any questions, post 'em.

Are we doing a set number of songs?

No set limit, though it’s probably wise not to demand too much of people’s time (in other words, please don’t make me review anyone’s two hour plus mix.)

I’ll be aiming somewhere around 60-80 minutes.

OK, I've sent out PMs assigning everyone their respective mix recipients. I put the list through an online randomiser, any curious pairings are entirely coincidental.

As the intention is that this is (temporarily) secret mix exchange, please don't disclose your identity to your mix recipient until they have posted their review.

I'll set the deadline for mix links/tracklists/playlists somewhere during the evening of Sunday 8 March 2020 Adelaide time, though that's open to extension if people need more time (within reason).
