But the Netflix stuff, and by extension Cloak & Dagger and Runaways, were already well established as already being part of the MCU.

If they never go back to that stuff, that's fine. Just don't recast those characters. Everyone one of them, even Iron Fist, were beautifully cast.

when iron fist was portrayed in the defenders he was way better than people give him credit for. his own series though i just didnt think they had the best story laid out for him

That doesn't mean it was bad casting, tho. While I liked certain aspects of it, the Iron Fist show WAS the worst one. (Which personally sucked for me because the character has long been a favorit.)
