The older Spideys. Then the X-Men. Eventually Star Wars and the Care Bears. Someday, even you and I will be in the MCU canon.
When everything is canon, nothing is canon
But the Netflix stuff, and by extension Cloak & Dagger and Runaways, were already well established as already being part of the MCU.

If they never go back to that stuff, that's fine. Just don't recast those characters. Everyone one of them, even Iron Fist, were beautifully cast.

Finn Jones has it in him to give us a better Iron Fist.

when iron fist was portrayed in the defenders he was way better than people give him credit for. his own series though i just didnt think they had the best story laid out for him

I found nothing compelling anywhere in the Iron Fist show. I wasn't even able to watch The Defenders series because it leaned so heavily on Iron First stuff. Just wasn't into it.

That doesn't mean it was bad casting, tho. While I liked certain aspects of it, the Iron Fist show WAS the worst one. (Which personally sucked for me because the character has long been a favorit.)

It's 2020. The MCU is not going to have a white guy whose superpower is kung fu

The "cooling off " period for DD ended this week, so they can use him. The other Defenders are still in Netflix purgatory.

That ended like 2 years ago. IIRC, it was for 2 years after the last seasons for each series were released.

The show was cancelled 2 yrs ago and the 2yr hold is now up.

You're right. I thought it was earlier.
