I'm rethinking my choice of Rival, if it means going this route means Insignificance takes track 7.

Insignificance is my favorite PJ song, and Evolution is my second, so I'm good either way. However, I do like Rival more than Low Light, which maybe leans me back towards my original choice.

"Rival" is closer to being the best song on Binaural than "Lowlight" is to being the best song on Yield.

i managed to get 38 seconds into FoN before turning it off

i would rather vote in sthupasonic sthupasonic and spritz out to it ironically rather than listen to this piece of crap and pretend like it was the tolerable track

that's my backspacer quota for the decade

Cropduster has my number 4 slot. It's a good song but that is a totally strategic position. Riot Act songs elsewhere will derail other things I want to see more.

Yes. Track 7 belongs to Do the Evolution.

I love Force of Nature but the beginning of it does kinda suck. It picks up with the chorus and is great song song from there, forward.

I'm thinking that may be the best choice for a BS song left. Johnny Guitar is good, but there's too many great tracks at #4.

This, but it doesn’t matter because I’d never listen to this album anyway because it has stupid yellow moon on it

i feel so conflicted

Rival is not the best song on Binaural

but i never want to experience those 38 seconds ever again

Something about having a Backspacer song and an LB song back-to-back kinda bugs me. I wish they'd been more spaced out.

This is my problem. I like Yellow Moon well enough, but can't stand Force of Nature, and having the two of those back-to-back at the end of the record would feel like a pretty limp finish.

"Yellow Moon" was not a good choice. It almost has to be sandwiched between two titans in order for it not to torpedo the album in the home stretch. I think "Rival" is the closest thing to that.

Having "Low Light" and "Yellow Moon" back to back feels like too much of the same, especially when it is sure to be followed with another ballad-y type song in the closer spot.

Yeah, we really need to avoid this.

I'm voting Satan's Bed right now, but I do love Rival. If I have to switch to Rival to keep FoN from winning this one, I have no problem doing so.

Best thing about all of Backspacer.
