If you're even a passing ABB fan I would say definitely. The band went through a shit-ton from the 60s to 00s and I feel this album really pays perfect homage to where they came from while showcasing where they ended up.

The Living End - Wunderbar
I'm not even joking. You should check this out 'sleep and riddles. And Ruddo - I reckon this might be in your wheelhouse too.

Excellent description. It’s their best studio album since Brothers & Sisters.
And you’ve got Warren Haynes and Derek Trucks with Oteil Burbridge on bass. I’m gonna listen to this on the way home.

I put A Moon Shaped Pool in this category, although I know most don't.

Probably the obvious answer.
But I enjoyed Next Day much more.

I love them both. I think TND is a stronger first 6-7 tracks, but it falls off towards the end. Blackstar is more concise, but it's perfect throughout.
I think his last seven albums, starting with 1. Outsider are all pretty stellar. Some more accessable than others but all stellar.
1. Outsider
Earthling
“hours...”
Heathen
Reality
The Next Day
Blackstar
Damn, that’s a run of albums.

I never really liked Heathen, reality and the next day.
