Billy Corgan is pretty weird

i once sat in front of bill corgan at a black hawks/red wings game. he sat there, seated, never standing up once, with his hood on clutching his ticket stub the entire time. when the black hawks scored and the entire arena stood up to cheer, that weirdo sat there, stone faced, looking straight ahead like puddy did on an airplane.

i've actually met him. while a little shy, he was a totally normal, down-to-earth guy. he even cracked a few jokes here and there.

Ehh...he made a lot of weird music with weird album art and weird concerts, but his persona — especially in interviews — was almost Albini-esque in his clinical outlook on things

i find it funny when musicians seem completely normal compared to the music they make. Thom Yorke, Richard D James, even Jad Fair seems like a normal dufus.
