Small Town doesn't move you as much at 40 (ish) as it did when you were a teenager but Leash does?

And Gigaton has got zero love on this ultimate playlist! :(
I wouldn’t vote for retrograde but Gigaton definitely deserved atleast one song on here and the best from Gigaton are well and truly gone now - disappointed!
Yeah, I feel like the problem (though it's not really a problem) is that Gigaton is full of 3.5 and 4 star songs, and in each track listing there's going to be one or two 5-star songs. Even Dance of the Clairvoyants, which is a phenomenal track, has some steep competition.

Elderly Woman, RVM, and Jeremy are probably the 3 90s songs that have had a real renaissance with me in recent years.

I've already decided to make an alternate version based on this playlist. In The Moonlight will be track 7, for example. And I'm considering DotC as well. Want to wait and see how this whole thing shakes out first.

Jeremy for sure. I was kinda burned out in the 2000 with that song. I thought it was...lame? Not sure what happened with me.

Hoping Release makes it onto this. The lack of Ten bothers me. How is it possible that out of Even Flow, Alive, Black, Jeremy, and Oceans neither makes an ultimate album? Mind boggling.

I like Sleight of Hand more than Release. But I'm also pulling for Release to win because I think the idea of an Ultimate Pearl Jam compilation without any Ten repetition is a shame.

Release is a powerhouse to open a concert but I haven't listened to the studio version in a while. On the other hand I know studio tracks don't get much better than Sleight of Hand.

Just because it is their most famous album doesn't mean it has the best music. Which is the case

Man... Army Reserve is way out of it's league here. Any of those other four are deserving finalists.

Army Reserve is a top five song from the last four albums, but very stiff competition here. Sleight Of Hand and In Hiding especially. Release is a classic.

I think it is good enough to warrant one song though.

I'm not sure I'd even put Army Reserve in the top five from S/T.
