I'm shocked Down Rodeo even performed this will. I still think it's an infinitely better song, but I'll take some comfort in its loss being a closer one than I had imagined.

I take solace in this reaffirming my view that most RMers are a bunch of morons.

For those of you still on the fence, might I remind you that Down Rodeo has an infinitely sicker bass line and some sinister sounds snaking through the verses.

I'll give them both a listen now, if only because "I'm rolling down rodeo with a shotgun" has been the line stuck in my head all day. If I change my vote to Down Rodeo, they'll be tied again

That intro chord is very Sonic Youth, too.

Then all I have to do is cast my vote, and we’ll have a winner.

No, I was right the first time. I feel confident that Know Your Enemy is the right choice.

I knew pinning my hopes on the likes of argo was folly.

The intro music to Skitchin' is what the KYE riff reminds me of! Starts at 0:26.

Trag, I listened to your Sega clip but I no longer agree with you. I really have always thought that a part of KYE sounds like 16-bit video game music from 1993, but for me it's the intro riff and not the main riff.

I think we're talking about the same riff, the first blast of electric guitar before he screams "know your enemy," right?

I'm talking about the first 38 seconds of the song. Morello is making 16-bit sounds come out of that guitar.

This is trending in the right direction. Voters take note. Still time to fix this.
