I never mention Mrs. Bam in public.

Just in case.

This.
Jeff’s bass sounds incrediballz on this unplugged recording too

makes the ex-post editing that much more sadifying

I was OK with them splicing in footage of Boom though

I realize PJ purists will note the historical era mismatch

but it was tastefully done

If it leads even one new fan to some Hovercraft songs it will have all been worth it.

Wow, I completely forgot they did Rockin on this set. Why in the hell isn't it included?

That said the audio quality is waaay better than the shitty MP3s I had twenty years ago.

Probably edited out because of the negative light in which it portrays department stores.

Listening to this on Spotify this morning. I prefer this performance of Porch to perhaps any other version, which is a surprise because I generally lean towards the studio.

Taped 29 years ago today after what I believe was their first Euro dates.

this has to be the definitive version of 'Porch'. the band is on fire, super tight, and eddie vedder sounds like a man possessed. the part coming out of the bridge where ev sings higher and higher while the band just hammers on the same chord is some of the simplest, yet intense music i've ever heard.

this is also my favorite version of 'black'. i know he screws up the words, its still awesome

Crazy to think its almost 3 decades ago, but also cool to think I was a fan of a band that's still going strong 30 years after I first heard them.

Right? Imaging telling then 14 year old me who was already in love with this band that they would still be relevant to me 29 years later! Crazy.
