Yea that seems way wrong. Activists work with grassroots and they can be SJWs.
I think of SJW as just a 'culture warrior' focused mostly on issues of social justice.

it's the opposite imo
"SJWs" get shit on for activisting in a way that doesn't depend on, or benefit, the Capitalist state mechanisms that might make someone an "acceptable" activist (e.g. a statesman, waged, friends with the government and the police, receiving peace awards from the Queen etc.); the archetypal SJW is a marginalised teenager online who is forced into "SJW" as an identity just because they have to fight for a space in any community; Ed doesn't seem to care about that person or their issues, but he is very busy doing famously charitable things with famously charitable people
