I’ve had them, they’re fine. There are also matcha digestive biscuits to be found at Asian markets. Also just fine.

Mrs Wease got the Kit Kat’s for me for Christmas a couple years back. They’re delicious.

still off the coffee, but during the long days of DIY builds at the new house, i resorted to english breakfast tea for a boost.
today at whole foods, i grabbed a can of some matcha concoction, and've felt great. time to return.

Still off coffee, spike?
I'm ready for a second cup at the moment but might steep this bag of matcha instead. so-so matcha in front of me, or expensive but nice coffee down the street?

Start with the fancy coffee, hit the matcha this afternoon. That's my MO.
But I've already had a cup of coffee about 3 hours ago.

When y'all say cups... how literal are you being?

Yes, different strokes for sure. For the sake of thread content though, money and time spent getting a cup of coffee is a better value than non-powdered matcha (cheapo baggie) that's right here?

My platonic ideal of a coffee mug is that short, 8 oz diner style thing, which is what I keep at home. So when I say a colloquial "cup", I usually mean an actual cup of measurement too.

The trip to a nice coffee shop is one of life's great pleasures, at least for this introverted pandemic dad. Nice to see some people, engage in a little small talk, feel like a self-actualized American man as I sip my fancy little coffee drink. I'm paying for the experience more than the coffee.
Ah, I see. I used to have that until my
favorite shop closed down a few months ago. I actually don't even know where I would go at the moment for a good cup that didn't involve driving.
