I'm happy for y'all. But I just could not care less. Winds or GTFO.
Oh for sure. The reason I said "if we ever get it" is because I'm pretty sure GRRM has said he won't release Fire and Blood volume 2 until the main series is finished since a lot of the more recent Targ history (ie Summerhall) will be spoilers for the main series.Simple Torture wrote:Careful, chud, you'll make me want to try Fire and Blood again.
I really enjoyed it.epilogue wrote:It's hard to pretend to get up for anything book related that isn't Winds of Winter, honestly.
I can't imagine I'll ever read Fire and Blood unless Martin finishes Ice & Fire. And we all know that ain't happening.
Steve Albini wrote:Whenever there's active promotion on the part of somebody else, whenever I see somebody all dolled up for a fancy photograph and someone's handing out flyers or whenever there's active promotion for something like that, as an imposition on my day, I hate all those people and I want them to fail. I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.
The book is betterSimple Torture wrote:Apparently, in his blog posts, GRRM refers to this show as "Hot D," which is certainly a choice.
I started reading Fire and Blood after chud talked about it a bit. I'm only about 40% of the way in, and I haven't even gotten to the time period that's going to be covered in this show, but I'm actually getting hyped over it now.
Great chud post, but I'm still going to be primed and ready for that Hot D on Sunday!Mecca wrote:The book is betterSimple Torture wrote:Apparently, in his blog posts, GRRM refers to this show as "Hot D," which is certainly a choice.

My girl had it and she died in her sleep. When her sister asked me if there was anything I gave her that I would want to have I mentioned it, but it’s gone as far as I knowpsychobain wrote:Someone stole my book
