Why not make it a 2 hour episode? Seems strange to have no tribal and to end with an obvious decision.

Probably stretching the overall episode count while still sticking to the shorter shooting schedule.

I hope they chill with the advantages and twists after the merge and just let them play the dang game. This season has been a waste of a great cast so far.

I guess? It's so hard to keep track of what's in play. Three idols, at least one extra vote, a steal-an-advantage, the hammer of time, and I think everyone has a 20-sided-die, or something? It's turning into the Cones of Dunshire.

Definitely Liana believing them. Of course they were going to give it to Tiffany. The fake idol was a nice touch though.

TBF, yes, Xander and Evvie sounded so insincere. But I think that was to throw suspicion on Evvie having the idol and to make them forget about Tiff.

This past episode I realized there was someone named Heather on the show.

Lol yeah my wife and I were like "who the hell is Heather!?"

The "No Buffs" podcast have a running joke that Heather is the mastermind pulling all the strings behind the scenes.

I just started listening to this pod over the weekend, so I'm only on episode 2. Pretty good discussions!

Reminds me of the guy who mads it all the way to the final 3 in Island of the Idols without ever catching a single vote in tribal, and the jury was basically like: "Dude, you're a nobody."

It'll be interesting to see if DeShawn and Shan's friction actually dissolves the Black contestants' alliance. The edit is making it seem like a lot of drama is brewing, but I wouldn't be shocked if Evee and Xander are the next 2 out.

I really think Ricard should've voted for her when they were down to 3 people in their tribe; she had an idol, but you could've convinced her not to play it (because in the end she didn't anyway).

Someone on the No Buffs podcast (mentioned a few posts above) theorized that Ricard didn't make the move because it was so early in the game, and his tribe was so small that no one would've remembered the move at that point. If that's the case, now's the perfect time: bring in DeShawn, Xander, Evee, and one or two other people. She has an idol and (I believe) an extra vote, so it's tough, but it can be done.
