I saw a review that said it was bad compared to the other Jurassic World movies. For that to be true it would have to be one of the worst movies ever made.

Did anyone watch that movie Crawl from a few years ago, where these people get caught in a hurricane and there's a massive flood and there's alligators everywhere? The whole movie is this father and daughter escaping these crazy alligators, and it was fucking fun. Hire that guy to make a Jurassic Park movie.

Whenever there's active promotion on the part of somebody else, whenever I see somebody all dolled up for a fancy photograph and someone's handing out flyers or whenever there's active promotion for something like that, as an imposition on my day, I hate all those people and I want them to fail. I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

That movie was actually his return to form movie after a few very lousy ones. Havent seen his latest one.

Besides Jurassic Park, is there a film series or franchise out there for which everyone agrees that the first movie is the best of the lot, hands down? I have never, ever heard anyone try to make the case that any of the other JP films come close to sniffing the original.

No lie, I thought of Jaws right after I hit the Submit button. I think there's a lot of love for Jaws II, and I would believe someone if they said it was their fav. If someone told me they liked another JP film the best besides the first one, I would try to have them committed.

I don't even care that the new movie is bad (I was never a fan of Trevorrow, his writing constantly sounds like functional first draft stuff), but how the hell do you fuck up a dinosaur movie so royally?
