I saw a review that said it was bad compared to the other Jurassic World movies. For that to be true it would have to be one of the worst movies ever made.

Why would they make a good one when these bad ones make so much money? If you want a good movie, pirate this shit or pay for an actual good movie and sneak in.

Did anyone watch that movie Crawl from a few years ago, where these people get caught in a hurricane and there's a massive flood and there's alligators everywhere? The whole movie is this father and daughter escaping these crazy alligators, and it was fucking fun. Hire that guy to make a Jurassic Park movie.

Thats Alexandre Aja, a great director.
That movie was actually his return to form movie after a few very lousy ones. Havent seen his latest one.

Besides Jurassic Park, is there a film series or franchise out there for which everyone agrees that the first movie is the best of the lot, hands down? I have never, ever heard anyone try to make the case that any of the other JP films come close to sniffing the original.

I desperately want John Krasinski to do a Jurassic movie; the tone of A Quiet Place movies is where we should be at in 2022
super intrigued to get a Bryce Dallas Howard movie too, she has the chops and would be the obvious choice now
I don't even care that the new movie is bad (I was never a fan of Trevorrow, his writing constantly sounds like functional first draft stuff), but how the hell do you fuck up a dinosaur movie so royally?
