Me too!

I've never been to a festival before and I'm flying solo.

Honestly, the festival aspect is what ultimately kept me away. We just didn’t want to fight the festival crowd sandwiched between two other “single” shows. If it had been a regular show, I think we would’ve pulled the trigger on it. I know there are a couple more acts there you’re wanting to see, but nothing else for that day really interested me.

If you stay for Sunday night, there are some great acts too. The Doobies, Marcus King, Mike Campbell and Sierra Hull. Sierra is the niece of a good buddy of mine. She’s recorded and toured with a LOT of people. Most recently Chris Shiflett from the Foos.

Nice!

I'm got some family commitments on Sunday, but otherwise I'd really consider stretching it out.

The line-up on Saturday is just too good. I wasn't able to get tickets to see St. Vincent or Pearl Jam when they played NYC this year, so getting the chance to see both in one night makes my heart so happy. Plus, again, I'm 42 years old and I've never been to a music festival. I'm excited to see what the experience is like. And I'm kinda glad I'm traveling on my own for it, too. No one else I have to worry about, you know. My schedule. Do what I want. Not be afraid someone else isn't having a good time.

I'm sure Pearl Jam's set will be a little more vanilla but I've seen them enough at this point to not care about that. I just want a fun show. Mostly, I want to hear some Gigaton stuff live. If I can get say DotC, Quick Escape and Alright I'll call it a big fucking win.

i got you, B. i will bring an Olympic Platinum sign with me to OKC. surely, one guy with a sign is good enough to get them to play it for the first time ever.

Props to the Jr. High girls that asked me if their signs would be enough to get the on stage from a full football field away from the stage.

Yeah I'm not crazy about that becoming a regular cover. It's the "Comfortably Numb" of the tour.

At least they don’t have a reimagining of Purple Rain called Nothing As It Seems.

Just got back. Second time I've seen PJ at a festival. Great set, until they decided to end with Purple Rain. As soon as it started people started filing out. Ledbetter or even rockin' would have been a better closer. Otherwise a very solid performance and no complaints.
