not that hard and frankly quite boring. You can literally copy and paste the first bit for the whole song and not know the difference

This is the correct answer.

You've cherry-picked one of the most straight-ahead, understated drum tracks in their entire catalogue. And even then, there's no way you can nail those ghost notes, even with years behind the kit.
You don't understand drumming. You think that difficulty is exclusively tied to time signatures. As usual, you're confidently incorrect. Calling yourself naturally gifted is also peak cringe.
I realise that engaging you is always a mistake, but you need to understand how smooth your brain is.

Confidence is when you believe in yourself and your abilities, arrogance is when you think you are better than others and act accordingly. You could say that arrogance is false confidence and that the person displaying it is overcompensating for their inner inadequacies.

My whole point from the beginning was just saying how I think chad smith is overrated. I don’t care if you guys believe I can play drums. I’m not even saying I’m great, merely competent. I am naturally gifted in music, but never practiced enough to be great. I’m not arrogant, I’ll be the first to tell you I suck at many things in life. Actually I’m quite the opposite of arrogant when I think about it. If I had a little more confidence, false or not maybe I could find a little success in life.

Tree, play, record, and share a drum track at your desk using chop sticks. That’d tie the last few pages together nicely.

Given how often drummers quit, I imagine endurance and tolerance for repetition separates the greats from the amateurs. Not to mention the repetitive stress injuries.
