I saw 2 different bears within like 3 minutes of each other today. I tried to approach the first for a photo but he took off. Then I was like fuck it. I'm not stopping the car for the second. Kinda regret it. The second one was standing on his hind legs and looked big and healthy. Mighta got a cool pic.

Yellowstone seems to be the epicenter of this shit. I think it's because Wyoming and Montana are the wildest states and Yellowstone is the biggest tourist hub over there.

Mrs. Bam has recently seen a coyote, snake, and owl on her walks with the dog. I’m jealous.

Yup. They make these national parks operate like a theme park so people end up feeling like they're in safe, comfy, controlled Disney Land. I'm all for making nature accessible to everyone, but people need to recognize that when they're visiting these places, they're visiting someone's home. And it's not the Mickey Mouse House. It's a bison's house, and the bison doesn't actually want you there.
There are so many beautiful parks and forests to visit. Spread the love a bit.
