I went to Whole Foods this morning at 7am..the first thing on my grocery list was bananas...I forgot to get them..might have to find the strength to walk back later

i had a bundle of 4 bananas that i bought 2 days ago. picked them up off my kitchen counter yesterday and all 4 of them simultaneously fell off their stems. was left there just holding 4 stems.

Neighbor throws out all kinds of food waste, but mostly banana peels. Just dumps them right on the grass in the middle of the apartment complex. Rotten food everywhere. Who does that?

i bought some bananas almost two weeks ago, and they refuse to ripen.
i stuck them in a paper bag last night. that didn't help.

i ended up peeling one because i wanted it on my toast.

I'm up at 4 am because the dog had to poop and I was on the internet..
Canadians eat approximately 3 billion bananas a year (on average, that's 83 bananas per person). In Canadian supermarkets, bananas account for over 10% of total sales in the produce section and 1% of total sales.
