Agreed on Autumn. I honestly cannot remember exactly what the last shot of Rhett looks like.

He's with his girlfriend in the cab of his pickup truck after it was run off the road by the stampede.

It seemed to me the bison were deliberately avoiding her during the stampede. I think the car crash is what did the damage to her (but she's alive).

Billy is probably dead.

That was Luke in the hole. Didn't look like he died to me.

Never count a talking alien wizard bear out.

I took it as Billy got his brains blasted out by that shot. That is what it looked like anyway.

He was holding his neck, if I recall correctly.
