Small, friendly get together tomorrow evening. Big pool party Sunday, weather permitting.
This week’s rain has really perked up the lawn so if it dries out I need to do some mowing. I have a Home Depot list too.

It appears we have pretty much canceled Canada Day. My peers do not celebrate it and many organizations are no longer hosting events. I'm fine with it I guess.

one of my brothers-in-law and his wife are on their way in from Kansas City to spend the weekend with us. I picked up a new propane tank and some booze to prep for fun.

Cranked up Netflix to watch the new season of Stranger Things. And I apparently never watched season 3. So starting that instead

Damn right.

I just looked this up - the parent company is Japanese but the vehicle itself is manufactured in the States.

friends of ours from dallas area are meeting us in eastern oklahoma this evening. both of our families are sharing a cabin for the weekend, and we'll float the illinois river. as long as i've lived in oklahoma (25+ years) i've not been on a float trip. should be fun.

Today is hot springs outside Fairbanks. The whole crew is going but is actually our anniversary gifts to each other. We’re hoping both sets of parents spring for us to get massages while we’re there.

Tomorrow is nothing at all other than dinner reservations.

Sunday, fly home. (Hopefully)
