My question to epilogue would be: when, if ever, would it be appropriate to use the word "slut" on this message board?

I've finally learned that they don't have to explain their reasons. They have power. Them's the reasons. This isn't actually a democracy. It's fun for them. Power corrupts.

Mods have to be cagey and circumspect, it's part of the official mod contract you sign when you get a mod offer

I didn't think I was being cagey. Interesting that you see that way. Seems like miscommunication. But nevertheless.... I've been pretty transparent about it (y'all complain that mods aren't transparent enough -- not that we need to be transparent at all -- and I try to be most of the time). Many posts were misogynistic and violated community standards. I'm not going to quote the specific posts for what should be obvious reasons.

It wasn't deleted. It was just moved to a sub forum that's only accessible to mods, where it will remain for the foreseeable future
