That seemed to be something that happened every year at our school. Some kid from the senior class would die during the year. We had a buddy of mine die in a car wreck and another killed himself accidentally. He shot himself in the stomach with a shotgun to gain sympathy from this girl that had dumped him a few days before in the hopes she would take him back. Well, point blank shotgun gut wounds don’t typically work out very well and it didn’t in this case either.

That did happen, too. The girl was a few years ahead of me. It was a young business teacher/head girls’ b-ball coach. He was her coach, of course. His wife, also a teacher, caught them in bed. Nothing ever came of it.

My civics teacher allegedly hooked up with a girl in my year as well. He got fired, but I think it was for myriad issues. Shortly thereafter he got into a car accident and suffered severe brain damage.

A kid in my grade’s mom was a teacher. She had an affair with a counselor. The kid got busted with alcohol at a Catholic retreat and his mom and the counselor came to pick him up. I was in the room for that one.

My senior math teacher banged one of the lunch ladies. That’s about it, though. I really didn’t know much about my teachers except which ones went to the bars a lot, and that was almost all of them.

I had maybe one female teacher per department from 7-12 grade and none of them were even slightly attractive. I never had an opportunity to be hot for teacher. Consequently, I learned a lot.
