Everything from Misc and Lost Dogs should count.

Although songs like YL, Solat, I Got Id etc were released at their time, and songs like Sad and Fatal only years later. Cold Confession wasn’t even released.

I think there a quite a few I'd put above Sad. But my personal favorite (and what I'd say is the best of them) is Hard to Imagine.

But Sad is a great song and a worthy pick for "best song ever left off a Pearl Jam record."

hard to imagine is an incredible live moment. its also one of those cool examples of how subtle lyric changes alter the meaning of the song

I feel the same about your pick. I got HTI the last time they played it in ‘98 and then when they brought it back at The Gorge in ‘05. Blew my fucking mind both times. And I got Sad in ‘05 as well.
